About 217 East 119th Street
The 217 East 119th Street project, located on a vacant site between 2nd and 3rd Avenues in Harlem, is an eight-story high building with a total living space of 28,000 square feet that consists of 45 separate apartments. The construction is managed by Raymond Chan. The layout features are currently kept secret. The average area of one apartment is expected to be about 620 square feet. The end date of the construction, as well as rental and purchase prices, have not been announced yet. There are basketball and baseball courts nearby, as well as Wagner Sports Square, something for people who like an active lifestyle. Religious people will be able to visit one of the many churches of different confessions located around the area: Christian, Reform, the Hall of the Kingdom of Jehovah's Witnesses, and many others. For those who like hiking and cycling, there are Park Harlem Art, LA Casita Community Garden, and the beautiful embankment of the Harlem River. As an added bonus for families living with children, the neighborhood has quite a number of schools: PS 96 Joseph Lanzetta School, Ps 7 Samuel Stern School, Harlem Day Charter School, St Paul Private School, Mount Carmel-Holy Rosary Private School, and Global Technology Preparatory School.
